Hexhive

Hexhive is a puzzle game. It has no account, no login, and no server of its own. This policy describes the only two ways data leaves your device, both of which come from third parties rather than from us.

What stays on your device

Everything you do in the game is stored locally and never sent anywhere:

• Puzzle progress, solve times and best times
• Daily streaks and which boards you have finished
• Your theme choice and the auto-mark setting
• Whether you have purchased the ad-free upgrade

Deleting the app deletes all of it. We cannot see it, recover it, or transfer it to another device.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of Hexhive shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may collect:

• Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA)
• Device type, operating system version and general region
• Which ads were shown, and whether they were tapped

You control this. On first launch iOS asks whether Hexhive may track you. If you decline, ads still appear, but they are generic rather than targeted, and the advertising identifier is not shared. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Hexhive also asks for consent before any advertising data is collected. You can reopen those choices from Settings → Privacy options inside the app.

Google's handling of this data is governed by their own policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Purchasing the ad-free upgrade stops all of this. Once bought, the ad code never runs and no advertising data is collected at all.

Purchases (Apple)

The ad-free upgrade is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, card number, or Apple ID. Apple tells the app one thing only: whether this Apple ID owns the upgrade.

Children

Hexhive is suitable for all ages, but because it displays third-party advertising it is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of the App Store Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. To limit what the advertising network collects, decline the tracking prompt or buy the ad-free upgrade. To remove the locally stored data, delete the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
